Homeowners

Once you have purchased a home in a community with a homeowner association, it is important that you understand both your responsibilities as well as those of the association. Homebuyers

As a prospective homebuyer, you may or may not have previous experience living in a community with a homeowner association. As a builder/developer, are homeowner associations an asset, a liability, or a necessary evil? Homeowner associations are more than a product of federal and state laws. Over 53% of owner occupied homes are now located in communities with a homeowner association. Associations have become a significant factor in the marketability of a community.
